Alcoa Deschambault Site Visit

The Alcoa Deschambault smelter has kindly offered to host a visit for 40 guests on May 10 2023.

Timings:

Assemble at the registration area for briefing: 11:00 AM

Depart from Conference venue: 11:30 AM

Return to Conference venue: 16:30 PM

Opportunity to register for this visit will be live with registration for the event. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and are are included with your ticket.

What to expect at the tour:

On May 10th, visit the Deschambault smelter and its aluminum production process. After receiving health and safety instructions and personal protective equipment, visitors will be invited to walk through all main sectors of the facility, from the anode production plant to the electrolysis area and casthouse. Informative sessions along the route will be given by the smelter employees on various topics, including maintenance, environment and energy, as well as Alcoa's Aluminum Center of Excellence located in our plant. The Deschambault team is known for its unique culture and engagement, and we look forward to seeing you at the tour.
