Developments in digital technologies and the digitisation of operations have enabled fundamental innovations and disruption in the Aluminium sector. Digital transformation strategies have provided unparalleled opportunities for value creation within the Aluminium value chain. However, accompanying the adoption of new technologies and business models are the risks derived from the security of the data, information and knowledge driving innovation in Aluminium. In this presentation, the need for a coordinated, business-driven approach to cybersecurity management in the Aluminium sector is discussed. The concept of digital resilience is presented as a key pillar of the digital transformation strategy of the sector.
